This Privacy Policy explains how TradePulse ("TradePulse", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our dashboard (together, the "Service").

Plain-language summary: We collect the information needed to run your account and subscription (email, name, billing details handled by our payment processor), and basic usage data to keep the Service working. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Billing information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). We do not store your full card number — Lemon Squeezy handles this in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We retain a record of your subscription plan, billing period (monthly or yearly), and payment status.

Usage data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including:

  • Pages visited and features used within the dashboard
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
  • Timestamps of activity, such as login times and signal views

Communications

If you contact us via the contact form, email, or live chat, we retain the content of that communication along with your contact details to respond to and track the request.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Process payments and manage your subscription (including applying monthly/yearly billing and any discounts)
  • Provide, maintain, and improve the dashboard and its features
  • Send service-related communications, such as billing receipts, password resets, and important updates
  • Respond to support requests
  • Monitor for fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies — required for login sessions and core functionality. These cannot be disabled if you wish to use the Service.
  • Preference cookies — remember settings such as your selected timeframe or market tab.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate usage patterns so we can improve the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the dashboard from functioning correctly.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following categories of third-party providers to operate the Service:

  • Hosting — our website and dashboard are hosted on Vercel.
  • Authentication & database — account data and sessions are managed via Supabase.
  • Payments — subscription billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy.
  • Market data — live price and indicator data is sourced from CoinGecko, Twelve Data, and Taapi.io. These providers do not receive your personal account information — only anonymized requests for market data.
  • Live chat / support — support conversations may be handled through a third-party chat provider.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (such as billing history).

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
